These two photos are taken from "The Edge" on the top of Hudson Yard. The left photo was taken at sunset, while the right one captures the city at night.
In the left photo, the sky glows orange as the sun sets behind the skyline. One World Trade Center stands tall in the center, and you can see the Hudson River behind it with boats scattered across the water. In the far background, you might notice the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge connecting Staten Island and Brooklyn. This kind of golden-hour lighting makes the city look warm and peaceful, even though it’s always full of activity.
On the right, the same cityscape transforms into a dazzling sea of lights. The buildings sparkle with thousands of windows lit up, and the streets are alive with the glow of headlights and traffic. One World Trade Center is lit with a patriotic red-white-blue pattern on its antenna, something often seen on national holidays or special occasions. In the distance, you can still see the outline of the Verrazzano Bridge, now illuminated as well.
