This photo was taken when I arrived in Singapore at Changi Airport. The weather was great that day, and the waterfall looked absolutely stunning. It was hard to believe I was inside an airport—it felt more like standing in the middle of a lush green rainforest. With such a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, it's no surprise that Changi Airport has been named the world’s best airport 13 times by Skytrax, including again in 2025.
Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, Jewel Changi Airport seamlessly blends nature with modern architecture. The structure's toroidal glass-and-steel façade allows natural light to flood the interior, enhancing the vibrant greenery and the shimmering waterfall . Beyond its visual appeal, the Rain Vortex serves a functional purpose by collecting and recirculating rainwater, contributing to the building's sustainable design.
